A Call To Intercede For Our Nation

Dear Leaders and Co Leaders, May the Lord bless you all for your faithful services. I am writing to request that during the koinos time, prayers for our nation or national issues be prayed with fervency. I have included an excellent prophectic revelation which I feel is the actual state of condition of our nation and our churches...... The Intercessors at the 24/7 Prayer House in Kenya have been fasting and praying for Malaysia since the 5 January, 2010 for 40 days.  There was a very, very strong burden for Malaysia and during their intercession there was much weeping and crying out for this nation.   The following is the message they received from the Lord for Malaysia: Malaysia is at a very important crossroads.  The Lord says that He has been so faithful to the nation of Malaysia.  He has protected Malaysia in 3 areas: 1.        The principalities over Malaysia have tried to cause racial dissension.  Feelings were stirred in the hearts of the people to rise up for destruction but because of God’s grace, He has prevented this destruction from happening. 2.       God has protected Malaysia from natural calamities when the surrounding regions have been hit by such disasters. 3.       God has protected the church.  Seeing that you are in a Muslim land, the church has a high measure of freedom thus far.  Many times the enemy has tried to come up to close in on the church but God has not permitted it. ·     God’s faithfulness and favor towards Malaysia is not because the Church has been praying. In fact, the Church in Malaysia has entered into a comfort zone. The Church is so contented and so comfortable and in slumber.  There is prayerlessness in the church and she is not carrying the burden that God has for the “cousins” in the land.  Most of the prayers that take place in the churches are personal prayers but not a burden for the nation and the lost. Warning from the Lord: The veil of protection over Malaysia is slowly giving way over this land.   The heavens over Malaysia have already begun to close. The burning of the churches is but a tip of the ice-berg of what the enemy is wanting to do over this nation.  There is a looming judgment waiting to take place over this land if intercessors do not arise. Teaching on Abraham pleading for Sodom & Gomorrah  Abraham prayed for Sodom & Gomorrah but his prayers could not deliver the cities.  His prayers alone could not prevent the judgment of God upon the cities.  Abraham was not living in Sodom & Gomorrah.  The people of the land themselves need to arise to intercede for their own land.  Unfortunately, there was no one in the land who took up the burden to pray for their cities and the cities were destroyed. Application to Malaysia: Only the prayers of the people in Malaysia can deliver their land.  This burden has to be taken up by the  Malaysians themselves.  They have to arise to pray for their land, cry out to God, influence the people and to tell them that the nation is at an important crossroads.  Tell the people that the next 5 years is so very important.  They either arise to a very, very powerful revival or slide in the other way. God’s will is for Malaysia to rise up to her destiny (being a “Rainbow Nation”) and for a great revival to sweep through this land.  Our brothers from other nations are just here to help us “PUSH”.  They are like “midwives” to help the Malaysian Church push until they see the baby born (the destiny of Malaysia).  The Malaysian Church has to pray and intercede to open the heavens over Malaysia.  To see revival, we need the heavens to be open.  Prayer will open the heavens.  The enemy will try to hinder our prayers but we must persevere and pray until we see the revival. PROPHETIC WORD CONCERNING PENANG, MALAYSIA Penang is like the umbilical cord.  Just as an umbilical cord supplies nourishment to the baby, Penang provides life to sow prayer and seeds for the revival in Malaysia.  The baby about to be born is the revival that God has planned for the nation. The Lord is asking the Church in Penang, “Are you willing to pay the price for the revival to come?” Penang is also like the church in Pergamum where it was mentioned that the “seat of Satan” was there in the city.  Penang has attracted the enemy to this place.  The Lord wants to raise up prayer warriors in this city to stand in the gap. Teaching on Altars  In times of judgment, people were to raise up altars to reverse the effects, to bring about healing for the land.  There are 4 altars that need to be raised up at a time like this: 1.        Personal altar:  We are the temple of the Holy Spirit for the Holy Spirit indwells us.  We need to activate our personal altar.  We need to pray everyday.  Develop your personal prayer life. Pray at least one hour a day.  Jesus asked his disciples, “Could you not tarry with me one hour?” 2.       Family altar:  Husband, wife, children need to gather together to pray.  We need to establish the family altar.  Exercise authority over your household in problem areas.  When men break faith with their wives, there is no family altar and this has great impact upon the children (Malachi 2:13-16).  Family prayers will affect your neighbours and neigbourhood as well. 3.       Church altar:  My house shall be called a House of Prayer for all nations (Isaiah 56:7).  The strength of the church is not measured by how many members, how much money or how powerful the pastor is.  It is measured by how strong the prayer life of the individuals in the church.  Very few people at the prayer meetings, a common sight in our churches.   Prayer meeting is for everyone, not just certain groups of people. God wants to establish the Territorial Church  (territorial altar) in the city to impact the city.  There needs to be a unity among the churches in the area or city.  The territorial church can deal with the principality over the area and thus have great impact over the area or city. If all cities have territorial altars then every city will begin to experience transformation. 4.       National altar:  People from the various territories or regions that have set up their altars will need to gather together to form the national altar.  The prayers that rise from the national altar will greatly impact the nation. Finally, let’s take heed of God’s Word concerning watchmen who are not doing the work of watchmen. God has called us to be watchmen on the wall, to warn the people of impending judgment or danger.  Let us not be like the watchmen as described in Isaiah 56:9-12.  If we are like watchmen who are blind and dogs that cannot bark or shepherds who lack understanding, then the “beasts of the field…… the beast of the forest” will come and devour our land!   Take heed, Church in Malaysia!!!!  The Lord has spoken through his prophets (Amos 3:7).

LIVING THE ANTITHESIS by Rev Susan Tang

For the past few years the Lord has been speaking to me about living in a manner that is the 'antithesis' to all that is happening in the church and in the nation. Over the years, as I waited on Him, I heard Him say, "There is darkness in My House. I am now calling those who can hear My voice to live lives that will be the antithesis to all that is happening. Stop your activities; start to pray and to live out that 'antithesis.'”

It was difficult because I had meetings lined up and my itinerant ministry was bringing in much financial blessing. The books and tapes were selling well and people were blessed. The only problem was, I did not have a deep sense of God's reality. I was finding it extremely hard to hear from Him and I did not enjoy the sense of joyful liberation and rest in my spirit that I am experiencing now. God settled my indecision by taking me through the typhoid incident! I was pathetic during that illness but so spiritually enriched after it. After I recovered, I could hear Him better and with His directives, came the explanations. I heard Him say, "Too many want to travel and speak for ministerial and money sake. They have no interest to build into my kingdom but into their own ministry which has no eternal validity. Now, will you obey and live in a manner that is the antithesis to all these?"

As I cancelled my itinerant ministry to stay back and spend time to pray, the directives also came to price down my books, to put them on the website for free reading. I was also to sell my house to buy a piece of land and to pioneer a prayer community. Oh, have I been struggling over these directives and decisions for the past two years! No wonder so many of us do not dare to spend time in His presence. Who knows what He will direct us to do next?

The struggles ceased lately as I read Matthew 7:13-14 and Jeremiah 7. In Matthew 7:14, Jesus commanded His disciples to walk the narrow way (or to live in a manner that is antithetical to the popular worldly order) although it was an unpopular choice and 'few there be that find it.' In Jeremiah 7 He convicted me that the deception in the church worldwide had already produced decline and darkness, a darkness which will finally lead to destruction. I then saw the decline of many local pastors and also much confusion in our local church scene as everything climaxes into what Jeremiah described in verse eleven:
" Is this house, which is called by My name, become a den of robbers in your eyes. Behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord." Not only do we have semi-nudity, gays and lesbians, con-men and women, paedophiles, adulterers, fornicators, pseudo prophets / prophetesses and false apostles defiling the church, we now have an influx of the merchandizing and trading spirit. No wonder God said the final result is that His house will become 'a den of robbers.' As the mercenary and the merchandizing spirit join forces with the present profanity, we will not only rob God of His glory, we will also rob the nation of godly standards or ‘the sense of God,’ and the heathen of their hope and salvation.

Many non-Christians are already disgusted as they could not find the difference between the church and the world. Benedict called the present culture the ‘culture of death’, and weaved his recent Easter Day message around the contrast between material and spiritual riches an told Christians to undergo a ‘purification of hearts’ so that we can heal a lacerated world. He warned against selfishness, corruption and said that the temptation of worldly riches is ‘the language of the serpent’.Yes, even the church is now inundated with the ‘culture of death’ and the ‘language of the serpent.’

What, then, is God saying to us?

What is His urgent and fresh call at this hour to the church in our nation?

Are the prophets and prophetesses in Malaysia hearing Him or are we still prophesying ‘vain things’ and dishing out only favorable personal prophecies?

Can we hear God calling men and women to live lives that are the antithesis to the horrible system of greed, materialism and compromise that has defiled the church and the land?

Do we hear God calling us back to kingdom life and an apostolic lifestyle?

When we do hear, do we then, have the strength to obey?

To live a life that is the antithesis to all that is around us is like a fish swimming against the tide. Its strength could break against that onslaught.

Does God know?

Yes, He does. This is why He told Israel, “Go on this special diet. Feed on manna (Me) daily. If you do, then you can fight against that order. The journey is indeed too hard for you but you can do it as you feed on Me and let Me infuse you with My life.” But Israel rejected that special diet. This is why they could not make the journey.

Will we let the same happen to us?

God knows we can only walk the narrow way and be the antithesis to the defiled, worldly and devilish system if we have an infusion of the life of Jesus. But the church life today is hardly an ‘infusion of His life’; rather, it is an infusion of programs, activities, mental knowledge and great exteriors. If I had not stopped my itinerant ministry and spent time in His presence to hear from Him, and then to have been allowed to see what He showed me, I would not have the strength to carry out His directives. And to many of us these directives seem to be utter foolishness.

Does it seem too much for a single woman pastor who is in her ‘retirement years’ to sell her house and part with her only piece of visible and tangible asset?

Yet my disobedience, after the Lord has shown me the rich rewards of my decision, would be worse than total foolishness and wickedness. My heart came to a liberating rest and joy when I could finally agree with what God was saying to me.
“The church must not only pray. She must live her prayers. If the church in Malaysia will not live lives that are the antithesis to all that is around her she will never be able to defeat the powers of darkness in this land; neither will she have the strength to avert My coming judgment.”

The infusion of His strength has helped me to yield, to agree to His directives and to start to live in a manner that will be the ‘antithesis’ to that which is selfish, worldly and devilish. I am doing it not because I'm spiritual, wonderful or ‘one step above the rest’. I am doing it as an act of obedience and out of a deep love for God. I am also doing it because I want to ‘stand in the gap’ for many priests and prophets who are unable to come free of the psychic bondage to materialism. I am also doing it as an encouragement to others to follow. The Lord has given me the assurance that there will be many others who will follow as His reality enveloped us for “Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power” (Psalm 110:3)

I now know what it means when I pray, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done.” God’s kingdom cannot come if His will is not done. The ‘kingdom lifestyle’ is the antithesis to the selfish, worldly and devilish order which the enemy has set up. It is wonderful to give it all to Him instead of allowing an incoming tsunami to sweep it away. Of course many still do not believe that a tsunami will ever hit the Malaysian shore or that Malaysian houses or properties will get swept off. People in Acheh and New Orleans did not think it could happen; nevertheless it did. Did people think that Subang Jaya and Shah Alam would get that badly flooded and that winds of that magnitude can hit the city? It happened and the worse is yet to come.

Is your life, up to this time just a product of an institution (the church) or is it an infusion of the life of Jesus? If it is an infusion of the life of Jesus, then you can come free of the psychic attraction to materialism and the ‘culture of death.’ You can live the ‘kingdom lifestyle’ and not listen to the ‘language of the serpent’. You can speak God’s language, ‘go against the tide’ and live the life that is the ‘antithesis’ to all that is around you so that you can heal the lacerated world … and the church.

4 of us from JB returned from the recent national Prayer Conf in KL last week. All sensed that there is a unique new level of prayer watchfulness over the nation as things WILL begin to change , a new spiritual atmosphere, something has been broken at last. This sense was shared at the prayer conference , even before we got the below email from a close friend in full time missions.

For our overseas friends on this email list, pls join us in prayer for ushering in a new era of evangelism and harvest which of course will be preceded by turmoil, since the enemy will not give up a large section of the unsaved population without a tough battle. The represented churches have purposed to set up prayer towers and centres all over to fortify against the warfare coming on. Deut 7v22 was spoken out at the prayer conference, and we must prepare our hearts and facilities for large ingathering of folks whom we have not sought to reach all these years.

Hebrew number for 8 looks alike a door. We have to find the door and ENTER IN, otherwise we will go around in circles.
CP drew a circle around the number - a year where new things are happening.

CP asked the question – GOD is ready, are we ready?
Are we ready for increase? There will be increase of harvest, power, spiritual gifts, supply, authority and favour. To hear GOD in order to move into HIS VISION.

New season of harvest. GOD will again cause us to see the harvest in a new way as many have lost sight of the harvest field. To transform the nation, GOD will have to transform us first.

GOD is looking for 3 generations to align themselves to HIM. When all 3 generations begin to speak the prophetic WORD of GOD in the earth realm, we will see HIS glory manifested.

GOD is calling forth intercessors and those with the prophetic gifts. Either we are surrounding our nation in prayer in a new way or the enemy is surrounding the nation in a new way. The NEED to build A NEW WALL around our nation NOW until end of 2009.

Make decrees into the atmosphere. Speak forth and say what GOD is saying to bring forth the transformation. Speak as a corporate group.

GOD is also asking – "Do you believe that I AM ABLE to bring change and transformation to this land? HE wants us to answer. What comes out of your mouth is what HE is going to work with. We can either agree with HIM or disagree with HIM. If we want to see change, we will have to prophesy. What has been started this year will ACCELERATE next year. If GOD can find a people that can prophesy everything that has been spoken, IT WILL BE DONE. GOD is raising up a prophesying people that will bring change to this whole region.

The enemy does not like GOD's people to prophesy. He will stir up unbelief to reject the prophecies. He will come up against the prophetic voice. We have to keep moving forward. Do not get distracted. DO NOT STOP.

Malaysia, you are at the most critical place. Your future is hanging on the ballots right now. You need to understand what GOD is saying RIGHT NOW. Things are going in a different direction in this nation. Someone must decree the prophetic declaration to determine the direction of the nation. Start to decree and you will see the changes taking place.

Timing is very important as you speak prophetically. You need to know GOD's perfect timing, speak it so that it will come to pass. Intercessory people will need to work with the prophetic people to bring the birth and change to the atmosphere.

Cindy Jacobs prophecy:
While in Israel, she saw a vision of a great tsunami hitting Asia. When she looked closely, the waves were made up of Asian faces. GOD is raising up a mighty army in Asia. The revival waves will hit South East Asia and the Pacific realm. GOD will use those HE has raised up to bring in the millions in the harvest field.

A New Move of GOD, new mantle of prayer.
Hab 2:14 - For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea.

Borneo, you are meant for revival. A revival fire is coming upon you, revival among the first nations group. GOD is using the children and the youth. There will be a cleansing of leadership.
